They Defend Poland’s Borders, Tusk Persecutes Them

Tommy Robinson recently visited Italy, and many Italians discovered that in Great Britain there is a social movement aimed at defending the borders against mass migration. His interview appeared in La Verità on February 2. But almost no one knows that a Border Defense Movement also exists in Poland and is led by a charismatic leader, Robert Bakiewicz.

– How was your movement founded?
– The Border Defense Movement was founded in response to the transfer of migrants to Poland by the German authorities and to EU regulations that oblige Poland to accept migrants from Africa and other parts of the world. We can all see the negative effects of migration to Western Europe and Scandinavia, where, for example, security levels are significantly decreasing and, as a consequence, attitudes that until a few years ago were favorable toward migrants are changing radically.

Seeing the negative effects of mass migration, we do not want to “import” this problem into our country because we believe we have no obligation to do so. We did not invite anyone to Europe, to Poland, as Chancellor Merkel did, for example. We believe that Poland should not participate in this experiment of social engineering that lies behind mass migration and the attempt to create a multiethnic and multicultural society.

– Why have you focused your activities on the border with Germany?
– I would like to emphasize that we are not only concerned with protecting the western border with Germany, but all borders, because we also have a significant problem on the eastern border. There, migrants are used as a weapon in the hybrid war conducted by Putin and Lukashenko against Poland and Europe. I was probably the first public figure to appear at the eastern border in 2021, when migrants began to be systematically transferred from Belarus.

But returning to the issue of the border with Germany, it must be emphasized that in Poland Prime Minister Tusk is perceived as someone who pursues German interests. One of Tusk’s closest collaborators, the former Minister of Culture and now Member of the European Parliament Sienkiewicz, once stated that Poland has no future except as a country with a subordinate role to Germany. I believe that most Poles do not agree with this view: we have the ambition and the intellectual capacity to fight for our place in Europe and in the world as an independent state and nation.

– This explains why Tusk has allowed the Germans to secretly send migrants into Poland…
– Yes, these moves by the Germans stem from that mentality: that there is no other hope for Poland, no other path except pursuing foreign interests, mainly German interests. Tusk and the entire political camp he represents believe that their servile policy toward Germany offers them the possibility of maintaining power in Poland; that they will gain some personal benefit from it.

Of course, this attitude is often hidden behind a “smokescreen” of patriotic slogans, as happened before the 2023 parliamentary elections. But in reality, it is a policy that leads to denationalization, the loss of identity, dechristianization, and even hostility toward our Latin civilization. And such a policy serves, among other things, to promote German interests in Poland.

– This explains the arrogant behavior of German officials in Poland…
– Exactly. German intelligence services can operate in Poland, German police can drive through Polish streets in broad daylight. The Germans can place migrants in our country to try to solve the problems they have at home: and they were clearly doing so with Tusk’s permission.

– Von der Leyen allowed Poland to be exempt from the Migration Pact for one year. Is this a political gesture toward Tusk so as not to force him to accept thousands of refugees during the pre-election period, which could damage his campaign for the 2027 elections?
– I believe that the postponement of the Migration Pact is in some way our success. Tusk and the European Commission took a step back after seeing the social resistance in Poland, of which we have undoubtedly been a very important element.

However, Tusk’s words that he will not accept migrants are only a maneuver to weaken social mobilization and fragment our movement. Tusk can wear any mask that allows him to pursue his political goals and those of Berlin. That is why, with the help of the European Commission, he is currently taking a step back only to take two steps forward later.

But in truth, there is no official document certifying that the Pact will be postponed: there are only private statements from politicians. And we realize that the European Union often lies and, even worse, interferes in the elections of EU member states, as it did in Poland and Romania.

Therefore, we are launching a citizens’ legislative initiative aimed at using certain legal loopholes, both national and European, to block this Migration Pact, regardless of what Ursula von der Leyen or Tusk may do. But above all, we are trying to mobilize and raise awareness in society about this issue.

– And how do you do that?
– We operate not only at the borders, but throughout the country, in municipalities and districts where laws have been approved against the transfer of migrants and the construction of “integration” centers for migrants, although this sounds ridiculous considering that in Western Europe for decades they have failed to truly integrate migrants.

Our actions have touched on a problem that concerns the entire nation. Therefore, according to a survey last year, more than 70% of Poles were against immigration and almost 70% of people supported, to some extent, the actions of the Border Defense Movement.

– You are defending Poland’s borders, which means you are doing what the Polish authorities should do. But instead of praising you, the authorities are bringing legal cases against you. You must face trials. Why?
– The first reason is the one I already mentioned: it is in Brussels and Berlin that they want to decide what happens in Poland. That is why Tusk, who pursues these foreign interests, wants to silence public voices that oppose the EU’s migration policy.

They are filing lawsuits against me, first of all, to deprive me of the opportunity to be active; secondly, to intimidate my colleagues and all Poles. The authorities are doing everything possible to convince people that cooperating with the Border Defense Movement, and with me personally, is risky, and to create a false image of the Movement. This is also achieved thanks to pro-government media which, through manipulated headlines and articles, portray me as a criminal. All of this has no basis in Polish law and is an abuse.

– I would like to recall the words of Tommy Robinson, who said: enough with the globalist agenda of open borders, woke indoctrination, censorship; enough with lies and ideologically controlled media. Should Robinson’s words also be amplified in Poland?
– Absolutely yes. Unfortunately, globalists want to do in Poland exactly what they are doing all over the world: dismantling barriers and borders. Although I have the impression that the globalists are already retreating, due, for example, to the actions of Donald Trump.

It seems to me that the time has come for a deeper reflection on what is good and what is bad for the societies of European countries and for every individual, even though the “elites” who claim to govern the world and decide the lives of each of us continue to operate.
