“Lion of Peru”: Mission in the Andes: Prevost’s Footprint in Peru
Here is the documentary about the pastoral service of the current Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops during his years in Peru
Just over a month after the start of Pope Leo XIV’s pontificate, Vatican media has released “Lion of Peru,” a documentary that retraces Robert Francis Prevost’s mission to Peru. The journey spans Chulucanas, Trujillo, Lima, Callao, and Chiclayo, in which several witnesses describe the future Pope’s life and his pastoral and social work. The documentary is a production of the Editorial Office of the Dicastery for Communication and was directed by journalists Salvatore Cernuzio, Felipe Herrera-Espaliat, and Jaime Vizcaíno Haro.
