Sacred music is reclaiming its place, not as a relic of the past, but as a living and necessary response to the spiritual thirst of contemporary humanity. With this in mind, the  Canto Católico Foundation  —one of the most prominent liturgical and polyphonic music organizations in the Spanish-speaking world—presents an extraordinary concert at the  Incarnatus Est Institute  , conceived as a true space for contemplation and art.

The meeting point between singing and the humanities

The event, held at the Incarnatus Est School in Boadilla del Monte, marks the culmination of the group’s European tour, which seeks to strengthen ties with local choirs and revitalize the musical tradition of worship.

The choice of location is not accidental. Founded and promoted by the renowned French philosopher and essayist Fabrice Hadjadj, the  Incarnatus Est Institute  was established with the mission of educating new generations through the integration of the humanities, the arts, and community life. In contrast to positions of retreat or confrontation, Hadjadj has argued that the task of Christian thought consists of “forming gardeners of culture” capable of cultivating beauty, truth, and humanity in the midst of today’s world.

A proposal to re-enchant art and liturgy

Since its inception, Canto Católico has been characterized by impeccable technical rigor and profound spiritual sensitivity, rescuing historical works of Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony, while also developing meticulous polyphonic arrangements and hymns with carefully crafted audiovisual presentations. However, as its members remind us, the purpose of their performances transcends the purely aesthetic: their true meaning lies in serving as a vehicle for prayer and spiritual elevation.

The concert’s repertoire ranges from monastic sobriety to the vocal richness of modern sacred music, enveloping the audience in an atmosphere where silence and the human voice intertwine.

With this meeting, both the Catholic Song project   and the  Incarnatus Est Institute  reaffirm a shared conviction: that faith and culture are not transmitted solely through abstract ideas, but through the transformative encounter with beauty, incarnation, and the word made song.
