Celebrations of Pope Francis in April and May
Calendar of papal appointments for the coming weeks
The calendar of liturgical celebrations presided over by Pope Francis for the coming weeks includes as its first commitment the pastoral visit to Venice, on April 28.
On the occasion of the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, on May 9, at 5:30 p.m., the Pope will preside over the Second Vespers with the delivery and reading of the Bull of Indication of the Jubilee 2025.
On Pentecost Sunday, May 19, it will be the turn of Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica at 10 in the morning.
Finally, on the occasion of the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity, next May 26, World Children’s Day, the Pontiff will preside over the Mass in St. Peter’s Square at 10:30 a.m.
