Ubuntu, a Culture of Encounter; All Connected
Synodal Meeting of the Pope and African Catholic university students
A live virtual event with the Holy Father will take place on 1 November, the theme will be Ubuntu, a Culture of Encounter; All Connected.
The activity is organized by the Pan-African Catholic Theology and Pastoral Network (PACTPAN) and co-organized by the Pontifical Commission for Latin America, CAL, the Center for Global Catholicism and Intercultural Theology, and Loyola University Chicago.
Taking up the initiative and extending the proposal to other continents, repeating the format, the new meeting is organized by African Universities, in collaboration with professors and students from North, Central, and South America, who participated in the first Building Bridges North-South meeting on 24 February 2022.
The students worked in groups for 4 months in the company of their bishops.
