The Pope’s health shows slight improvement with respiratory and motor therapy
On the afternoon of March 17, the Pope's health showed a stable evolution with some improvements thanks to respiratory and motor therapy
The Holy Father has reduced the use of high-flow oxygenation with nasal cannulas and, at certain times, can do without oxygen therapy. During the night, he uses non-invasive mechanical ventilation. The swelling in his hand, visible in a released photograph, is attributed to reduced mobility, although it has shown signs of improvement.
Throughout the day, the Pontiff alternated between prayer, rest, and some work tasks.
The next official medical report will be released this Wednesday.
