The Pope visited the children in the paediatric oncology ward
He baptized a baby just a few weeks old, named Miguel Angel
Communication to journalists by the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni:
“This afternoon Pope Francis visited the children hospitalised in the paediatric oncology ward in the A. Gemelli hospital, bringing them rosaries, chocolate eggs, and copies of the book “Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea…”.
During the visit, which lasted about half an hour, the Pope imparted the sacrament of baptism to a baby boy, named Miguel Angel, just a few weeks old.
In the end, he returned to his ward.”
