The Pope received in audience the Prime Minister of Uganda
H.E. Ms Robinah Nabbanja
Yesterday morning, in the Vatican Apostolic Palace, the Holy Father Francis received in audience Her Excellency Ms. Robinah Nabbanja, Prime Minister of Uganda, who today, 25 July 2023, met with His Eminence Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, accompanied by His Excellency Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations.
During the cordial discussions, which took place in the Secretariat of State, the good relations between the Holy See and Uganda were evoked, emphasizing the role played by the Catholic Church in the country. It was a favourable opportunity to discuss matters of common interest and to exchange views on the situation in the region.
