The Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, reports that:

“Yesterday’s day passed well, with a normal clinical course. In the evening Pope Francis had dinner, eating pizza, together with those who are assisting him in these days of hospitalization: the Holy Father was present with the doctors, nurses, assistants, and staff of the Gendarmerie.
This morning, after breakfast, he read some newspapers and went back to work.
His Holiness is scheduled to return to Santa Marta tomorrow, once the results of this morning’s final examinations are available.”

“As he is scheduled to leave the hospital tomorrow, Pope Francis is expected to be present in St Peter’s Square for the Eucharistic celebration of Palm Sunday, Passion of the Lord.”
