“The Pope spent a peaceful night and is resting,” the Holy See Press Office reported this morning, February 26, in a communication to journalists.
Yesterday afternoon, in a note, the Vatican Press Office reported that “the Holy Father’s clinical condition remains critical, but stable. No acute respiratory episodes have been recorded and the hemodynamic parameters remain stable” and that the Pope “has undergone a scheduled control CT scan for radiological monitoring of bilateral pneumonia” and “the prognosis remains reserved.” And yesterday morning, the Press Office added, Francis “after receiving the Eucharist, resumed his work activities.”
