The Holy See Press Office has announced that Pope Francis remains fever-free and continues with the prescribed therapy. His health is stable. This morning, the Holy Father received the Eucharist and spent time reading and doing some homework. The Pope is deeply grateful for the numerous displays of affection and closeness he has received in recent hours, especially from those who are also hospitalized, who have sent him drawings and messages of good wishes. He prays for all of them and asks that they continue to pray for his speedy recovery.

Let us recall that Pope Francis was admitted to the Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome on February 14 to undergo medical examinations and continue his treatment in a hospital setting.
In addition, he has delegated to Monsignor Rino Fisichella the celebration of Sunday Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica on the occasion of the Jubilee of Deacons. The Pope expressed his gratitude for the many prayers and expressions of affection received during this period.
