Pope Francis is improving, but his condition remains critical
Although he has responded positively to treatment, doctors warn that he is not out of danger yet
Pope Francis, 88, has been hospitalized at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital since February 14 due to bilateral pneumonia.
According to the medical team, although he has shown a slight improvement and his hemodynamic parameters are stable, his condition remains critical.
Specialists point out that, despite not being in danger of death, any small change could seriously affect his health. The Pontiff is expected to remain hospitalized for at least another week to continue with the appropriate treatment and monitoring.
Despite the situation, Francis remains lucid, and in good spirits and has been able to carry out some activities from his room, including moments of prayer in the hospital chapel.
