PEACE: Tribute to the grave of Giuseppe Dossetti
"Example of attachment to the Constitution and to the Council, memory of the horrors of war"
Community of Sant’Egidio – Press Office

The founder of the Community of Sant’Egidio, Andrea Riccardi, paid homage today at the tomb of Giuseppe Dossetti in Monte Sole: “Member of the Constituent Assembly, then monk and actor of theconciliar renewal, he remains for all Italians, in the difficult times we live in, an example of attachment to the values of the republican Constitution and to the season of hope opened by the Second Vatican Council.
His presence at Monte Sole, the site of the Nazi massacres during the Second World War, recalls the memory of the horrors of war and the imperative of the search for peace so necessary in these times of conflict”.
