November 29, Advent Preparation
Daily Reflections
Gospel Reflection
In today’s Gospel, Luke 21:20-28, Jesus describes the signs of his second coming and calls us to lift our heads and be alert, because our redemption is near. He invites us not to be carried away by fear, but to trust in his promise of salvation.
The purpose of the day
Today, maintain an attitude of hope and trust in God’s promises. Take time to meditate on the promises of salvation and redemption that Jesus offers us, and how you can live with hope in your daily life.
How to live Christmas as a family
As a family, talk about what hope means in your lives. You can share testimonies of how you have seen the hand of God at work in your lives and how you maintain hope in difficult times.
Prayer for the day
“Lord, fill my heart with hope and trust in your promises. Help me to live each day with the certainty of your love and your salvation. Bless my family and allow us to walk together in this Advent, strengthened by your hope. Amen.”
