Learn to truly love: transform your relationships and connect from the heart

Nonconformists: What if someone told you that love can also be learned?

“There is no other enterprise or activity that begins with such high expectations and enthusiasm and fails so often as love. […] What we must do is examine the causes of such failure and study the meaning of love.”  This reflection by psychologist Erich Fromm, although written decades ago, resonates today with overwhelming force. In Spain, the statistics are a reality check: 7 out of 10 marriages end in dissolution. A figure that would be on every newscast if it were the result of a football match, but one that we have normalized in the realm of relationships.

Given this situation, an inevitable question arises: What are we doing wrong? The answer, for a group of young couples from Valencia, is as simple as it is revealing: no one teaches us how to truly love.

From this conviction, Inconformistas was born, an emotional training course that rebels against the idea that love is merely a matter of luck or chemistry. It’s a call to action for all those young people who sense that from “match”  to forever, there’s a path that requires work, learning, and tools.

Love, but seriously: a training for the brave

Nonconformists is an in-person course divided into three sections with a clear objective: to give young people the keys to building happier relationships, starting with themselves. As its organizers explain, “the common thread is learning to know, love, and accept oneself in order to learn to accept and love others, empowering us to have happier relationships.”

The format is designed for a generation that values authenticity and avoids sermons. Each block, which lasts four months, consists of four sessions, one per month, with a dynamic and participatory structure:

  1. The Talk:  A top-level expert speaker (psychologists such as Lucía Pérez and effectivity experts such as Jokin De Irala and Rafa Lafuente have passed through his lectures) presents a key topic: from self-knowledge and emotional wounds to communication in a couple, sexuality, and commitment.
  2. The Colloquium:  a space for unfiltered questions. Whether live via microphone or anonymously via a mobile app, attendees can ask their questions, allowing them to address the most sensitive topics with complete freedom.
  3. Dinner:  After the training, it’s time to connect. Over a beer and good food, attendees and the speaker share their thoughts in a relaxed atmosphere. A fundamental space for building community and realizing they’re not alone in their concerns.

The 4th edition is already underway

After three editions with extremely high attendee satisfaction and national expansion, already present in 7 cities throughout Spain, Inconformistas is preparing for the launch of its fourth edition in Valencia, which will begin in September 2025.

This course is for you if you’re between 20 and 30 years old, single or in a relationship, and feel the desire to go beyond superficial relationships. It’s for you if you’re excited by lifelong love stories, but find that the throwaway culture is keeping you from that ideal.

In a world that sells us easy, fast-consumptive love, daring to educate ourselves to love better and seeking depth in these superficial times is the greatest act of rebellion.
