Monthly Spiritual Exercises: 30 Days for a Transformative Encounter with Christ
The Casa Cristo Rey in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid (Spain) hosts a profound Ignatian experience in August, aimed at priests, consecrated persons, and lay people
During August 2025, the Casa Cristo Rey in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) will offer a new series of monthly Spiritual Exercises, faithfully following the method of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. This is a unique opportunity for silence and prayer for those who wish to deepen their relationship with God, allow themselves to be transformed by his grace, and discern his will.
The retreat, which will begin on Thursday, July 31st, the feast of Saint Ignatius, and conclude on Sunday, August 31st, is especially aimed at priests and consecrated persons. However, it is also open to lay people who wish to experience this profound thirty-day experience. The retreat will be accompanied and guided by the Parish Cooperators of Christ the King, specifically Fathers Enrique Martín Baena and Francisco Javier Sanuy Moya.
The House of Christ the King, entrusted to this religious congregation, is a place specially prepared to facilitate silence and prayer. Through the Exercises, it seeks to be an instrument of spiritual renewal for the Church and the world, offering the valuable Ignatian legacy adapted to the challenges of the present.
Those interested should contact Casa Cristo Rey in advance by calling 678 883 981 or emailing [email protected]. The registration period ends July 15, 2025.
The organization encourages everyone to entrust the fruits of this spiritual initiative and to collaborate in its dissemination.
