‘Let’s Imitate the Saints,’ Urges Pope
Francis Reflects After All Saints and All Souls Day
Let’s imitate the saints…
Pope Francis urged this toward the end of today’s Nov. 3 Wednesday General Audience, after All Saints and All Souls Day.
The Holy Father was greeting Italian-speaking pilgrims, especially the elderly, sick, young and newlyweds.
“May the recent solemnity of All Saints and commemoration of All Souls” Francis said, “offer us the opportunity to reflect, once again, on the meaning of earthly existence and its value for eternity.”
“May these days of reflection and prayer,” the Pope said, “be an invitation for everyone to imitate the saints, who remained faithful to the divine plan throughout their lives.”
The Holy Father concluded bestowing his Apostolic Blessing.
