Juanito.ai Takes a Bold Leap: From Guadalupan AI to Platform for Catholic Formation
The artificial intelligence Juanito.ai, created in December 2024 to delve deeper into the Guadalupan Event, is now taking a decisive step: in addition to rigorously explaining the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe with historical, theological, and pedagogical rigor, it is becoming a reliable platform for studying and applying the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Social Doctrine of the Church
An evolution that builds bridges between living tradition, digital evangelization and apostolic outreach.
A pedagogical ally for Catholic education
One of the great strengths of this version is its educational value.
Aware that authentic communication requires a real encounter between two people and that technology should not replace presence, but rather enhance and complement it, Juanito is especially aimed at religion teachers, catechists, and pastoral agents so that they may have in him a support that allows them to:
- prepare classes with doctrinal soundness and a dynamic style;
- to present complex content in a clear and accessible way;
- design pastoral materials and training activities;
- to encourage family, youth and adult catechesis processes.
It’s not just a database: it’s a Catholic educational assistant, capable of transforming doctrinal study into vibrant learning experiences. Juanito.ai aims to fulfill this vision: a technology that thinks with the heart of the Church, at the service of formation and pastoral charity.
A tool that accompanies the Christian life
In addition to reinforcing its pedagogical and doctrinal vocation, the new stage of Juanito.ai also shows a face close to the life of the faithful.
The tool is capable of shedding light on issues that arise in everyday life:
- discernment in the face of difficult decisions,
- family and work life,
- the experience of charity and social justice,
- the support of adolescents and young people,
- the understanding of the liturgical year and its celebrations.
It does not limit itself to offering definitions: it provides criteria, examples, texts from the Magisterium and spiritual guidance, helping the reader to integrate the doctrine into their life of faith.
In times of information overload, this AI offers what is so needed today: Christian criteria, accessible 24 hours a day.
Roots on the Guadalupe Way
Thousands of faithful use Juanito.ai as a formative and spiritual guide, especially pilgrims visiting the Basilica of Guadalupe at Tepeyac, but the project originated in the rural communities of Mexico’s highest peak, Pico de Orizaba, within the MasAlto Mission of the Legionaries of Christ. There, on the Camino de Guadalupe, the desire arose to offer a tool that combined Guadalupan culture, spiritual depth, solid formation, and evangelizing commitment.
Its creator, Fr. Evaristo Sada, LC, expresses it this way: “Juanito.ai not only informs; it forms. Its mission is to accompany the spiritual and apostolic growth of each person.”
The platform is free and is especially recommended for schools, universities, house churches, parish groups, shrines, and lay movements.
Its programming is handled by Budly.ai: an artificial intelligence-based learning platform developed by the Anáhuac University Network (Mexico).
The road to the Guadalupano Jubilee
This evolution comes at a significant moment: the Church is preparing to celebrate the Fifth Centenary of the Guadalupan Event in 2031.
The Global Pastoral Project 2031–2033 underlines the urgency of renewing evangelization and forming missionary disciples capable of responding to today’s challenges.
From that perspective, Juanito.ai is consolidated as a resource that promotes doctrinal formation, social commitment and personal encounter with Christ from the Guadalupan heart.
Digital evangelization with depth and closeness
In a digital landscape saturated with voices but lacking in critical thinking, Juanito.ai represents a commitment to the Church’s qualified presence in the new forums.
His simple, warm and pastoral style makes him a bridge between tradition and contemporary languages, especially close to younger generations.
When it helps people to pray, to understand the faith, or to make decisions enlightened by the Gospel, this artificial intelligence becomes a precious collaborator for the Church to remain — even in the digital world — “close, mother and teacher”.
