Apostolic Journey of His Holiness Francis to the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of the “Bahrain Forum for Dialogue: East and West for Human Coexistence” (3-6 November 2022) – Words of the Pope on the flight Rome – Awali

On the plane taking him to the Kingdom of Bahrain this morning, the Holy Father Francis greeted the media workers accompanying him on the papal flight.

Introduced by the greeting of the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, the Pope addressed the journalists with the words that we publish below:

Words of the Holy Father

Good morning! Thank you so much for your company and for your work.
It is an interesting journey, it will make us think and give good news. Thank you very much for your work.

I would like to greet you one by one, but the problem is that I am very sore today and I do not feel up to doing the tour. But it would be a pleasure for me if you would do the round, and I will say goodbye here. Thank you!
