For example,   stars like Alisson Becker, Moisés Caicedo, Christian Pulisic, and Santiago Giménez have shared biblical messages and testimonies on social media.

Gestures such as prostration (Sujud) and celebrations dedicated to the deity are common, with viral cases such as the joint prayer between Germany and Curacao.

It should be noted that the Curacao national team has been recognized for its spiritual unity, holding days of prayer and worship before their matches.

Luis de la Fuente believes in God

The Pope’s visit to Spain changed the way many Spaniards viewed the Church. Thousands of Catholics took to the streets to reaffirm their faith, the same faith that  Luis de la Fuente,  coach of the Spanish national team ,  has stated he professes on several occasions. The most recent instance was in the final episode of the second season of ”  La Plaza del Pueblo”  (The People’s Square) in the  series “El Resurgir de Madrid” (The Rise of Madrid ),  before heading to the  World Cup.

When the journalist asks him if  “Luis de la Fuente believes in God,”  the man from La Rioja doesn’t hesitate to affirm it:  “Yes, of course, I’m Catholic .” He then explains that he doesn’t understand why, after the statements he made about his religious beliefs,  people still thank him:  “So many people, when I’m walking down the street, approach me to show their support and thank me for that testimony of faith.”
