Francis is gradually improving: signs of recovery at the Vatican
After several days of rest at Casa Santa Marta, the Pope is showing positive signs in his health, with improvements in his breathing, mobility, and voice
Pope Francis continues his recovery process at the Casa Santa Marta, after being discharged from Gemelli Hospital on March 23. According to official Vatican sources, his general condition shows a slight but steady improvement.
In recent days, favorable developments have been observed in his breathing capacity and mobility. Improvements have also been noted in his voice tone and a reduction in his need for oxygen, which points to a stable recovery. Recent clinical tests support this trend, showing clearly improved blood parameters.
During this period, the Holy Father has maintained moderate activity, focused on following up on ecclesial matters and occasional meetings with close collaborators. Although his public schedule has been reduced, he is expected to be able to participate in a limited capacity in the traditional Angelus prayer on Sunday, April 6, although there is no official confirmation yet.
The Church and millions of faithful around the world continue united in prayer for the Pope’s full recovery, with hope and confidence in his strength.
