Daily Reflections
Gospel Reflection
In today’s Gospel, Matthew 21:28-32, Jesus tells the parable of the two sons. One says he will not go to work in the vineyard, but then repents and goes. The other says he will go, but does not. Jesus invites us to reflect on the importance of our actions and our obedience to God’s will.
The purpose of the day
Today, reflect on your actions and your obedience to God’s will. Evaluate whether your actions reflect your commitment to God, and make the necessary adjustments to live according to his will.
How to live Christmas as a family
As a family, please talk about the parable of the two sons and what it teaches us about the importance of our actions. You can share experiences in which you have had to make difficult decisions and how you have sought to obey God’s will.
Prayer for the day
“Lord Jesus, help me to be obedient to your will and for my actions to reflect my commitment to you. Bless my family and allow us to walk together in this time of Advent, guided by your love and your truth. Amen.”
