Friday 24 December 2021
SOLEMNITY OF THE NATIVITY OF THE LORD

Saint Peter’s Basilica, 19.30
The Holy Father Francis will celebrate Holy Mass on the night of the Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord.
The Eucharistic Celebration will be preceded by the preparation and the singing of the Kalenda.

SOLEMNITY OF THE NATIVITY OF THE LORD
“Urbi et Orbi” Blessing, 12 noon
The Holy Father Francis will address his Christmas message to the world and will impart the “Urbi et Orbi” blessing.

SOLEMNITY OF MARY, MOTHER OF GOD
Saint Peter’s Basilica, 17.00
The Holy Father Francis will celebrate First Vespers of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, followed by the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the traditional singing of the hymn “Te Deum” at the end of the civil year, and the Eucharistic Blessing.
