The Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue (DID) in collaboration with the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organizations (WUCWO) is organising an international conference entitled “Women Building a Culture of Encounter Interreligiously” to be held in Rome, 25-27 January 2023.
The aim of this international gathering is, firstly, to listen to the interreligious initiatives of women in different contexts and, secondly, to develop a global network of women of different religious traditions and spiritualities to foster a “culture of encounter” where women, while promoting their own dignity and equality, work in solidarity with all to re-humanise the de-humanised world through friendship, dialogue,
and cooperation.
The programme of the event includes sessions with women from different faiths and backgrounds as speakers, informal panels, open discussions, and moments to network.
