Madrid is preparing for a unique experience that combines performing arts and evangelization. On  March 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. , the Fernández-Baldor Theatre in Torrelodones will host the regional premiere of “Carlo 2.0 The Musical,” a brand-new production created by the professional company  Talitha Cumi .

This production chronicles the enduring impact of Carlo Acutis after his passing, focusing on how a teenager who lived according to his faith can transform lives. The synopsis introduces a prestigious Italian film director, an atheist, hired by RAI to make a documentary about the young millennial saint. By interviewing those who knew him and recreating scenes from his life, the protagonist is forced to question his own convictions, rediscovering the value of the Eucharist, Adoration, helping those in need, and the real possibility of living a life of holiness every day.

The production stands out for its freshness and diversity: original songs performed live, a brand-new script, and choreography that fuses classical ballet, breakdancing, hip hop, popping, and contemporary dance. All of this is brought to life by a cast of professional singers, dancers, and actors from Talitha Cumi, a company that has won two national awards in Madrid and has been dedicated to evangelization through the performing arts since 2012.

The Zavala family, renowned for their publications on Carlo Acutis, will attend the event and offer signed copies for those who wish to learn more about the life of the Blessed (soon-to-be Saint). The book is especially geared toward young people, though it promises to move and entertain audiences of all ages, demonstrating that holiness is not something distant, but rather accessible and relevant today.
