Dear friends, I am Father Ángel Espinosa de los Monteros. Today I put on my glasses to read you something beautiful that has come to me and that I think is worth sharing with all of you.

“I want to remember your face so that when I meet you in heaven, I can recognize you and thank you once again.”

This phrase has a special meaning that reminds me of a story by Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola. In a telephone interview, a radio host asked him what had been the happiest moment in his life. Femi replied that he had gone through four stages of happiness before understanding the true meaning of it.

The first stage was to accumulate wealth and means, but he did not find the happiness he was looking for, despite having material abundance. In the second stage, he collected valuables and precious items, but again, the happiness they brought was temporary and ephemeral. The third stage involved undertaking big projects, such as becoming the largest supplier of diesel in Nigeria and Africa. However, even here he did not find lasting happiness.

True happiness came in the fourth stage, when a friend asked him to buy wheelchairs for 200 disabled children. Femi accepted, bought the chairs and went to deliver them personally. Seeing the glow of happiness on the children’s faces, he felt genuine joy. One of the children grabbed his legs and, when asked if he needed anything else, the boy responded: “I want to remember your face so that when I meet you in heaven, I can recognize you and thank you once again.” This moment not only made Femi happy, but changed his attitude towards life.

This story teaches us that true happiness is not in wealth, valuable objects or great achievements, but in the good we do for others. I hope this reflection reaches all people, especially those rich and powerful, so that they understand that the most important thing is to do good.

Let us remember that all material things are temporary, but the good we do is eternal. Imagine your loved ones wishing to see your face again in heaven to thank you for all the love and support you gave them. Let us do all the good we can, not to receive something in return, but because it is the right thing to do.

Dear friends, let us do all the good we can and may God bless you always. I am Father Ángel Espinosa de los Monteros. Thanks for reading this article. Subscribe for more content and follow me on all my social networks. God bless you always.
