Daily Reflections

Gospel Reflection
In today’s Gospel, Matthew 10:7-15, Jesus sends his disciples to preach the Kingdom of Heaven, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, and cast out demons. He tells them to do it freely because they have received it freely. This passage reminds us of the importance of generosity and selfless service.
The purpose for the day
Today, take time to practice generosity and selfless service. Find a way to help someone without expecting anything in return, and do it with joy and love.
How to live Christmas as a family
As a family, talk about the importance of generosity and service. You can make a list of acts of service that you can do together during Advent and commit to carrying them out, always remembering Jesus’ teaching to give freely.
Prayer for the day
Lord Jesus, help me to live generously and to serve others with selfless love. Bless my family and guide us in this season of Advent, being reflections of your love and generosity in the world. Amen.
