Gospel Reflection
In today’s Gospel, Matthew 9:27-31, Jesus heals two blind men who cry out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” Jesus asks them if they believe He can do this, and when they answer affirmatively, He touches them and they regain their sight. This miracle shows the power of Jesus’ faith and compassion.
Purpose for the day
Today, exercise your faith in Jesus’ compassion and power. Spend time praying for your needs and the needs of others, trusting that Jesus hears and answers our pleas with love.
How to Live Christmas as a Family
As a family, talk about the importance of faith and trust in Jesus. You can share your prayer requests and pray together, asking Jesus to grant you the graces and blessings you need.
Prayer for the day
“Lord Jesus, I believe in your power and your compassion. I ask you to hear my prayers and those of my family, and to grant us the graces we need. Bless my family and guide us in this time of Advent, strengthened by faith and hope in you. Amen.”
