Daily Reflections

Gospel Reflection
In today’s Gospel, Luke 1:39-45, Mary visits her cousin Elizabeth, who, upon hearing Mary’s greeting, feels the child in her womb leap for joy. This encounter shows us how the presence of Jesus, even in Mary’s womb, brings joy and transformation to those who encounter him.
The purpose of the day
Today, reflect on the joy you experience in being close to Jesus. Spend time in prayer and ask God to help you share that joy with others, especially those who need it most.
How to Live Christmas as a Family
As a family, talk about the joy that Jesus’ presence brings into your lives. You can share moments of joy experienced together, and plan an activity that helps spread that joy, such as doing something special for someone in need.
Prayer for the day
“Lord Jesus, thank you for the joy that your presence brings to our lives. Help us to share that joy with others and to be bearers of your peace. Bless my family and allow us to walk together in this time of Advent, radiating your love. Amen.”
