Gospel Reflection
In today’s Gospel, Matthew 15:29-37, Jesus performs the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes, feeding a multitude with just seven loaves and a few fish. This miracle shows Jesus’ compassion and power to meet our deepest needs.
The purpose for the day
Today, trust in God’s providence for your needs. Take time to thank God for your blessings and ask for the grace to trust in his care and provision in all aspects of your life.
How to Live Christmas as a Family
As a family, talk about God’s providence and how He always provides for our needs. Make a list of blessings you are thankful for and offer a prayer of thanks together.
Prayer for the day
Lord Jesus, thank you for your endless compassion and for always providing for our needs. Help me to trust in your providence and to live with a grateful heart. Bless my family and guide us in this Advent season, always trusting in your love and care. Amen.
