Daily Reflections

Gospel Reflection
In today’s Gospel, John 5:33-36, Jesus speaks of John the Baptist as a burning and shining lamp, and highlights that his own works are a testimony that the Father has sent him. This passage invites us to reflect on the witness of our faith and how our works can reflect Jesus’ love and mission.
Purpose for the day
Today, reflect on how your life and works are a testimony of your faith in Jesus. Spend time doing a charitable or service act that reflects Jesus’ love for others.
How to live Christmas as a family
As a family, talk about the importance of the witness of your faith and how you can reflect Jesus’ love through your actions. You can plan a service activity together, such as visiting someone in need or making a donation to a charitable organization.
Prayer for the day
“Lord Jesus, help me to be a faithful witness of your love and your mission. Allow me to reflect your love through my works and my life. Bless my family and allow us to walk together in this time of Advent, guided by your love and your truth. Amen.”
