December 15, Third Sunday of Advent
Daily Reflections

Gospel Reflection
In today’s Gospel, Luke 7:18-23, the disciples of John the Baptist ask Jesus if He is the Messiah. Jesus responds by showing the signs of His mission: the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor reception the good news. This passage invites us to recognize Jesus as the Messiah and to trust in His power and love.
The Purpose of the Day
Today, we recognize Jesus as the Messiah and trust His power and love. Spend time in prayer and ask Jesus to help you fully trust in Him and His plan for your life.
How to live Christmas as a family
As a family, talk about the signs of Jesus’ mission and how you can recognize His presence and love in your lives. You can share testimonies of moments when you have experienced the power and love of Jesus.
Prayer for the day
“Lord Jesus, I recognize you as the Messiah and I trust in your power and love. Help me to fully trust in you and in your plan for my life. Bless my family and allow us to walk together in this time of Advent, guided by your love and your truth. Amen.”
