The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Gitega, Burundi, presented by Archbishop Simon Ntamwana.
The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Bonaventure Nahimana of Rutana as metropolitan archbishop of Gitega, Burundi.

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the metropolitan archdiocese of Turin, and as apostolic administrator of the diocese of Susa, Italy, presented by Archbishop Cesare Nosiglia.
The Holy Father has appointed as metropolitan archbishop of Turin and bishop of Susa, Italy, the Reverend Roberto Repole, of the clergy of the same metropolitan archdiocese, until now canon and lecturer, uniting the two sees in persona Episcopi.
Msgr. Roberto Repole was born on 29 January 1967 in Turin, in the province and archdiocese of the same name. After his high school studies at the minor seminary, he entered the Archepiscopal Seminary of Turin where he attended the courses in philosophy and theology. He completed his formation at the Pontifical Gregorian University, where he was awarded a licentiate and doctorate in theology.
He was ordained a priest on 13 June 1992.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar (1992-1996), lecturer in systematic theology at the Theological Faculty of Turin and the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences in Turin (from 1996 to date), canon of the Royal Church of Saint Lawrence (from 2010 to date), president of the Italian Theological Association (2011-2016), rector of the Turin section of the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy (from 2016 to date), member of the administrative board of the Holy See Agency for the Evaluation and Promotion of Quality in Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties, AVEPRO (from 2016 to date).
He has served as diocesan coordinator of university pastoral care and, for a five-year term, a member of the Diocesan Ecumenical Commission. He is a cooperator with the Santa Maria della Stella parish in Druento, Turin, diocesan ecclesiastical assistant of the Ecclesial Movement for Cultural Commitment (MEIC), and a member of the Presbyteral Council.
Change of title from “Patriarchate of Babylon of the Chaldeans” to “Patriarchate of Baghdad of the Chaldeans”
The Holy Father has granted the request presented by His Beatitude, Cardinal Raphaël Louis I Sako, on behalf of the Synod of Bishops of the Chaldean Church, approving the change of the title “Patriarchate of Babylon of the Chaldeans” to “Patriarchate of Baghdad of the Chaldeans”.
