It will be a journey to the sources of the Apostolic Faith and of fraternity between Christians of different confessions. I will also have the opportunity to get closer to a humanity wounded in the flesh of so many migrants in search of hope: I will go to Lesbos.” “I ask you, please, to accompany me with your prayers. World AIDS Day
Moreover, the Holy Father mentioned that today, World AIDS Day, is “an important occasion to remember that many people affected by this virus, for many of whom it’s not possible, in some areas of the world, to access essential care.” I also hope “for a renewed solidary commitment to guarantee just and effective health treatments,” he added.
