Despite the situation, the Pope remains in good spirits and has been able to carry out some activities from his room, where he has received visitors, including from the President of the Council of Ministers of Italy, Giorgia Meloni. His stay in the hospital is expected to be extended for at least another week, to ensure a complete recovery.
For the second consecutive Sunday, the Holy Father will not lead the Angelus prayer publicly. However, the Vatican says he remains aware of his responsibilities and in communication with his closest collaborators.
